Off-duty Police officer charged with low range PCA - Warners Bay

An off-duty police officer has been charged with drink-driving at Warners Bay near Newcastle.
About 12.08am on Saturday (17 January 2009), a 41-year-old man was driving a vehicle on Hillsborough Road when he was stopped for the purposes of a random breath test.
It will be alleged the man, an off-duty police officer, returned a positive reading and he was taken to Belmont Police Station where he was later charged with drive with a low range PCA.
He’ll appear at Belmont Local Court on 29 January 2009.
